John and his wife run a great little cafe. I find it clean and comfortable with great service. Of course the best thing about Simmering is their soup being the best I have ever tasted. Finding this place so close to home makes it very convenient to just stop in for a quick bite on those evenings I'm running late. So if you like soup, especially Pho, I highly recommend it!

A smile of happiness your stomach enjoys. A lovely smile to greet you and quickly see you. Atmosphere of Vietnam, bright, colorful and cheerful. The spring rolls with shrimp and delicious barbecue pork awakened the appetite. Peanut soy sauce dip. Number 14 is a delicious beefy broth with rice noodles and thin slices of brisket and beef. A squeeze of juicy lime. The basil added fresh to enhance the taste and perfume. Mung bean sprouts sprinkled into the broth for crunchy texture. Delicious. Generous portions. Gracious hospitality. Sometimes Ebola soup really is good for the soul. And this place has never disappointed.

Loved every single thing about this restaurant. Sweet owners who were super inviting and kind. Everything we ordered was delicious and their pho bowls are huge! 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be back next time we pass through town

I'm sitting here eating my chicken Pad Thai and feeling so content that I had to hop on and 5 star this place immediately. The medium spice is a great starting point if you like spicy food, you get chili crisp and Sriracha at the table too. Lovely staff, good boba, delicious food. My husband also really loved his beef pho. Great stop on our way up to San Francisco!

I have been coming here a while now. It is my favorite among Vietnamese resturants and one of my favorite overall. Everything I've had is really great. My fav is Bo luc Lac...sizzling plate with bites of steak and veggies such as green peppers, onions and mushrooms. Ive had other dishes and they are excellent as well. See ice and people are top notch and the look and feel is very comfortable.

Absolute hands down the best pho you will ever have. Super clean soup always fresh ingredients , perfect every time .

Having been out of town for decades, we decided to stop by to eat. Times have changed, and there are more shops and places to eat. Simmering Pho Cafe is now on the top of my list for Vietnamese food. Everything we ordered was just delightfully delicious! From the tasty banh mi sandwich (one of the better ones I have had!) to the Summering Bang Xeo (a crisp rice flower Vietnamese pancake folded over and stuffed with bean sprouts and scallions) to a com Bo Luc Lac (shaking filet mignon with steamed rice). All were pretty simply-prepared, meaning the meals were not adulterers with excess seasonings and spices. And lastly, their Cafe Su Da (Vietnamese Iced Coffee) had the proper balance of coffee bitterness and sweetness of the condensed milk - awesome! If there was one problem, it had to be the glass of water. It was HEAVILY chlorinated (typical of restaurants in the area) and HEAVILY minted and HEAVILY lemon'd. I don't know how anyone else feels, but chlorine, lemon and mint just do not mix - stick with bottled water! I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants, albeit many of which catered to the "American" tastes, thereby changing the fundamental taste of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Not here. For authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, I highly recommend Simmering Pho Cafe!

Simmering Pho has the most amazing spring rolls! Their vermicelli dishes are also so yummy!
